Onions
So yesterday while I was cooking dinner, I had to cut up two onions for the soup. I started to get a little teary eyed, then I got this brilliant idea to sit down at the same level as the onions. Crazy? No. It was the best thing ever!!! My eyes were not bugged by the onions at all! I thought this would be the best thing to post on my blog so whoever reads can do the same while cutting their onions.
So the onions were for this really yummy triple tomato soup.
Sadly we only had Italian stewed tomatoes and no regular canned tomatoes so the soup kinda tasted like pasta sauce but it was still really yummy.
I also made some french bread to go with the soup. Best homemade bread ever! After dinner we had some homemade Danish puffs. If you have never had a Danish puff before, I recommend trying one. They are really good, kinda like a cookie with a doughnut on top.
On tuesday for our fhe we made a movie. There were three groups. I was in number one. Each group had to film a certain act for the movie, act 1, 2 or 3. The fun part about it was that each act had the same characters but different people playing them. It was a lot of fun and really random. I was the mom of Eli and my scene in our act was me/mom getting kidnapped. I was talking about how awesome my son was while walking around the parking lot when a stranger asked me for some help. After I said yes, BAM!! I was knocked out and in the back of his car. The last scene for me was texting my son help. It wasn't really planned out what I was going to say so when the camera started rolling it was improv from then on. It was really fun just messing around for a random movie that we made in fhe. We are going to watch the movie next week. It's going to be fun!
My first long speech in Public Speaking is in two weeks. My topic is The history of dirt bike racing. I just have to talk about the basics, so I don't loose my audience from speaking about things they don't understand.
Next week is my first exam in Sociology! Yay! Hopefully I will be able to get a good grade on that, to start off the rest of the exams for the semester.
I am really having a good time in instatute. I love the random/funny/weird/cute guys/men that are in my class. They are all so happy and always have something fun or spiritual to say in class.
I hope you all are having a good week!!
